| AC with Coach, Ally's hip is bugging her, so she's taking a week off. Felt good warming up and going down to the industrial block, but my mile repeats sucked: 5:37, 5:37, 5:40, 5:42. Ran back to the high school.

| We ran our 8 miler today. It's like the hospital run, but longer. I was really tired during the run, and the sandy part in the middle was a killer! Then weights after. I bumped up weights on all: B55 S85 LE9 LC11 ABS10. (Last time lifting.) | Add Comment |

| Arctic Circle. (Last morning practice!) In the afternoon, we did some speed work: first we did a big grass loop warmup, then 4x400's w/o stops (1:25, 1:25, 1:25, 1:24) a bigger rest, then 4x200's (38, 38, 38, 37) then big grass loop cool down and partner stretches. I felt like I went slower than I could've/should've gone.

| A meet today! Cedar Invitational! Race went ok-ish, my first mile was fast, but my legs were dead and I had a bad attitude for the rest. Time was 19:22, worse than last time here (19:18) but close. And better than last year at this race (19:47). Oh and I got 13th place. | Add Comment |
